On 14 October 2009, author Ed Vere visited the Idea Store in Whitechapel to read his story, Mr Big, to a local Reception Class.
Ed read his story about a big lonely gorilla to the class of 30 children and their parents and teachers. Ed also had the class do a drawing activity, where everyone at the event (event the parents!) drew their own Mr Big.
