Keep track of your events and help us demonstrate the value of Booktime

Help us showcase your great work in libraries

If your library receives a Booktime resource pack, you can help us demonstrate how Booktime supports family reading

It is very important for us to be able to demonstrate the value and impact of Booktime activities in libraries.

Last year, librarians identified the key benefits of holding Booktime events:

• 87% agreed that they help to promote the library and its services
• 82% agreed that they strengthen links with schools
• 79% agreed that they increase children's enthusiasm for their Booktime books

This year, we request that libraries receiving a resource pack provide feedback on their activities, so we can showcase the great work all over the country supporting family reading through Booktime.

Online survey for libraries

We will invite all libraries receiving Booktime resources to participate in an online survey. To participate, it would be very helpful if you could please make a note during your Booktime activities of:

• Number of Booktime events you hold
• Format - e.g. book pack gifting, class visit, shared reading workshop
• Number of children and adults attending
• Any feedback gathered (feedback forms are available on the Booktime website)
