Libraries are a key partner for Booktime, and 1500 public libraries will receive a special Booktime pack containing a big-book version of Open Very Carefully, as well as exclusive resources like stickers and posters to help make any Booktime events as engaging as possible.

 Libraries that received Booktime resources to run events last year identified the following key benefits:

  • 96% felt that Booktime events helped to promote the library and its services
  • 85% felt that Booktime had helped libraries strengthen links with local schools
  • 80% felt that Booktime had helped libraries make contact with parents/children who did not previously use the library
