Each month we choose a book for shared storytime which we feel deserves special attention

We aim to pick books we feel would make a perfect shared story for you and your child. We'd love to hear what you think of our selections, or any suggestions for books you have enjoyed with your child.

This month we recommend The Monster Who Ate Darkness by Joyce Dunbar.

Many children fear the dark. Dunbar's monster is there, but, far from threatening Jo-Jo at bedtime, it seems to help by eating up the darkness.
